From September 12 to 13, 2025, the "2025 International Industrial Explosion-Proof Technology Forum", co-organized by Warom Technology Co., Ltd., was grandly held in Shanghai.
This forum was jointly hosted by Shanghai Instrumentation & Control System Testing Institute Co., Ltd. / National Explosion-Proof Safety Supervision and Inspection Station for Instruments and Meters (SITIIAS/NEPSI), the Reliability and Information Security Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Instrumentation, and the Secretariat of the Explosion-Proof Instrumentation Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Explosion-Protected Electrical Equipment (TC9/SC7). It marked another grand event in China's industrial explosion-proof technology field.
The forum brought together global industry elites. Special guests in attendance included Paul Meanwell, Chairman of IECEx; Professor Xu Jianping, former Chairman of IECEx TAG and current Treasurer; and Professor Zhang Gang, Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Explosion-Protected Electrical Equipment (TC9). In addition, representatives from professional technical institutions such as SGS, UL, and CCVE, manufacturers, end users, and experts from design institutes gathered together to jointly address the challenges of going global and empower Chinese enterprises to achieve "intelligent" success in the global market!

Paul Meanwell, Chairman of IECEx, delivered a systematic interpretation of the important role of international standards in enhancing product safety and promoting trade facilitation, with his speech titled "IEC International Standards and Conformity Assessment Systems Facilitating Global Economic Development".
Professor Xu Jianping, Treasurer of the IECEx TAG under the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), delivered a professional knowledge lecture titled "China's Explosion-Protected Equipment Lifecycle Safety Supervision and Management System". In the lecture, he elaborated on the innovations and practices in building a full-chain management system for industrial explosion-proof safety, and demonstrated China's systematic development and sense of responsibility in explosion-proof safety governance.
Professor Zhang Gang, Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Explosion-Protected Electrical Equipment (TC9), focused his discussion on the topic of "Certification of Explosion-Protected Equipment and Its Special Service Conditions". He elaborated on the key points of compliance certification and scenario adaptation, and put forward professional suggestions of "comprehensive information, clear prompts, and closed-loop execution".
At the forum, senior experts from institutions such as SGS, UL, and CCVE shared cutting-edge insights across multiple dimensions, including explosion-proof related policies, standards, technologies, and certifications in major global regions. These insights provided clear and practical compliance pathways for domestic explosion-proof manufacturing enterprises to successfully explore the international market. Meanwhile, experts from well-known domestic and foreign enterprises also analyzed application cases of intelligent industrial safety and explosion protection, offering practical references for the implementation of related technologies.

At every stop, the guests either paused to observe, asked detailed questions, or engaged in in-depth exchanges. They spoke highly of the factory's refined management, automation level, and quality control capabilities, and unanimously agreed, "Warom has achieved such a manufacturing scale, such a degree of automation, such on-site management, and such quality inspection and control in the explosion-proof field, making it a benchmark in the industry."
